Workshop on DNS and DNSSec - 2025
DNS, or Domain Name System, is like the internet’s phonebook, turning website names into IP addresses computers can understand. DNSSEC adds a vital layer of security to protect against tampering and cyber threats.
The workshop is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Domain Name System (DNS) and its security extension, DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC). DNS is the backbone of the internet, translating human-readable domain names into IP addresses, while DNSSEC enhances this system by adding a layer of security to prevent DNS spoofing and other attacks. Drawing from industry-standard resources, the fundamentals, configuration, and best practices for implementing and managing DNS and DNSSEC will be explored. This workshop will equip you with practical knowledge and hands-on skills to strengthen your DNS operations.
