== Workshop on DNS and DNSSec - 2025 ==

DNS (Domain Name System) acts as the internet's phonebook, translating human-readable domain names to IP addresses. While it's one of the foundational internet services, its configuration and security mechanisms are often underappreciated until a problem arises. DNSSEC enhances DNS by ensuring data integrity and authenticity, protecting users from man-in-the-middle attacks and cache poisoning.

This workshop provides a structured and in-depth learning experience in DNS architecture, deployment, operation, security hardening, and DNSSEC integration. With a strong balance between conceptual sessions and labs, the participants will gain confidence in both building DNS infrastructures and implementing DNSSEC to meet current internet security standards.
