    2 Linux is known to be the most assential platform of a campus IT infrastructure. Most of the IT service applications such as web, mail, identity management, LMS, Library systems, etc have to be run on Linux to get their best performance. Being it is free opensource, Linux and the most of it softwares/tools have become only the solution for state accadamic institutions which have to be run on a very low budget.
